    Promote behavior change through media, community engagement, and counseling.

    Strengthen supply chains to prevent stockouts and method discontinuation.
  • Strengthen Service Provider Capacity
    Enhance healthcare providers’ skills for quality family planning services.
  • Promote Research & Innovation
    Use evidence-based research to improve service delivery and outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities of PMU

The PMU is responsible for overseeing the project’s operations and the following responsibilities:

  1. Operations and Project Management
    • Oversee day-to-day project operations.
    • Manage execution of the implementation plan.
  2. Partner Coordination

    Develop and maintain strong relationships with program partners.

  3. Coordination with Health & Population
    • Ensure effective coordination for smooth implementation.
  4. Evidence-Based Implementation and Evaluation
    • Evaluate program effectiveness and improve outcomes.
  5. Financial and Budget Oversight
    • Plan, monitor, and report financial activities.
  6. Data Collection and Analysis
    • Analyse field data and take corrective actions.
  7. Risk Management
    • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  8. Environmental and Waste Management
    • Ensure proper handling of environmental and waste issues.
  9. Steering Committee Recommendations
    • Propose improvements for approval.
  10. Planning and Monitoring
    • Resolve planning and monitoring issues.
  11. Reporting
    • Submit regular progress reports to the Steering Committee.
