Meeting Chaired by Provincial Minister for Health & Population, Khawaja Imran Nazir

A meeting was chaired by the Provincial Minister for Health & Population, Khawaja Imran Nazir, to review the arrangements for the inauguration ceremony of the Maryam Nawaz Community Health Inspector (CHI) Project. The meeting was attended by the Secretary Health & Population, DIG Operations, CTO, representatives of the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner, and other concerned officers. The Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner also participated in the meeting online. During the meeting, the venue and security arrangements for the inauguration ceremony were finalized. It was decided that the inauguration ceremony will be held in the first week of January 2026 at the National Hockey Stadium. Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, will be the chief guest at the ceremony. CEOs Health from all districts of Punjab, along with Community Health Inspectors, will participate in the inauguration ceremony. Speaking on the occasion, Khawaja Imran Nazir stated that the Maryam Nawaz Community Health Project is a flagship initiative of the Chief Minister Punjab. He added that the Community Health Inspector (CHI) Program will bring positive change and a revolutionary transformation in the health sector. The Provincial Minister further said that the CHI Program will directly support and assist healthcare initiatives at every level. He emphasized that the Community Health Inspector Program will be beneficial not only for NADRA but also for allied departments. He concluded by saying that the CHI Program will play a vital role in collecting accurate population data, which will significantly support effective planning and service delivery in the health sector.
