The Punjab Minister for Health and Population Welfare, Khawaja Imran Nazir, has launched the measles and rubella vaccination campaign across Punjab.

The Punjab Minister for Health and Population Welfare, Khawaja Imran Nazir, has launched the measles and rubella vaccination campaign across Punjab.

On this occasion, the Secretary of the Health and Population Welfare Department, Nadia Saqib, along with other senior officials of the health department, was also present.

During this campaign, children aged 6 months to 5 years will be administered protective vaccines.

Approximately 17 million children will be vaccinated during this campaign.

The Health Minister said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Health Department is working with an effective strategy against measles and all other diseases, and thankfully, the results are now directly benefiting the public.

He urged parents to not only get their own children vaccinated on time, but also encourage children in their neighborhoods and nearby areas to receive vaccinations, so that together they can protect children from measles and rubella.
