Punjab Minister for Health and Population, Khawaja Imran Nazir, has formally inaugurated the National Anti-Polio Campaign in Punjab.

 

Punjab Minister for Health and Population, Khawaja Imran Nazir, has formally inaugurated the National Anti-Polio Campaign in Punjab.

On this occasion, Prime Minister’s Focal Person for Polio Eradication Ayesha Raza Farooq and Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s Focal Person for Polio Eradication Uzma Kardar were also present.

The National Anti-Polio Campaign will continue from December 15 to December 21 across the province.

While addressing the ceremony, Khawaja Imran Nazir urged parents to actively participate in this national responsibility and ensure that their children receive two drops of polio vaccine during every campaign to protect them from polio.

He emphasized that parental cooperation is vital for making Pakistan polio-free.
