Health Secretary Nadia Saquib Reviews Flood Relief Efforts Across Punjab
LAHORE – Secretary of Health and Population Punjab, Nadia Saquib, chaired an important meeting to review ongoing relief activities in flood-affected areas across Punjab. The meeting was attended by Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) and Medical Superintendents from all districts of the province.
During the session, officials assessed arrangements for relief camps, supply of medicines, “Clinics on Boats,” field hospitals, and mobile “Clinics on Wheels” established to serve flood victims.
Nadia Saquib directed that immediate medical assistance, quality medicines, and emergency facilities must be ensured without delay for all affected individuals. She emphasized that providing timely and reliable healthcare through relief camps and mobile clinics is the top priority of the Health Department.
She added that these efforts are being carried out in line with the special instructions of the Punjab Government and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif to guarantee the best possible medical support for flood-hit communities.
