Secretary Health and Population Department Punjab, Nadia Saquib, paid a detailed visit to DHQ Hospital South Multan and the Paraplegic Centre. On this occasion, Special Secretary South Punjab, Shehbaz Naqvi, was also present with her.
During the visit, a thorough inspection was carried out of various hospital wards and rooms, the pharmacy, availability of medicines, and cleanliness arrangements.
She issued immediate directions to improve cleanliness, strengthen the hospital’s sanitation system, ensure complete availability of medicines, and provide better facilities to patients. She clearly stated that no compromise would be tolerated on the quality of services provided to patients.
Later, the Secretary Health also visited the Paraplegic Centre, where she reviewed the facilities being provided to patients under treatment, the standard of medical care, and the performance of the staff. The administration was instructed to ensure that no negligence of any kind occurs in the care and treatment of patients.
