Inauguration Ceremony of Dialysis Center at THQ Hospital Renala Khurd under the Chief Minister Dialysis Program

Provincial Minister for Health and Population Khawaja Imran Nazir inaugurated the Dialysis Center at THQ Hospital Renala Khurd.
Members of the National and Provincial Assemblies MNA Nadeem Abbas and MPA Chaudhry Javed Alauddin, along with Deputy Commissioner Ahmed Usman Javed, were present on the occasion.

CEO Health Dr. Fouad, MS Renala Dr. Hamida Ali, officers from the Health Department, Tehsil administration, and media representatives also attended the ceremony.

Speaking at the event, Khawaja Imran Nazir stated that a modern dialysis facility for kidney patients has now been launched at THQ Hospital, which will enable patients to receive quality treatment in their own city. He announced that ten more dialysis machines will be provided to the hospital in the next phase.

The Provincial Minister further shared that, on the instructions of the Chief Minister, work on a Cath Lab project will begin within the next three to four months. He said that, God willing, heart patients will no longer need to travel to major cities for angiography or angioplasty.

Khawaja Imran Nazir also announced that new doctors, consultants, and specialists will soon be recruited across Punjab, and KPIs will be developed to evaluate doctors’ performance.

The Provincial Minister visited the newly established dialysis ward and inquired from patients about the facilities. He appreciated the efforts of Deputy Commissioner Ahmed Usman Javed and the Medical Superintendent for the timely completion of the dialysis ward and directed hospital administration to ensure the best possible facilities for patients.

Patients expressed gratitude and offered prayers for Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif for establishing the dialysis center.

The Provincial Minister said that the Chief Minister of Punjab is committed to ensuring quality health services, and that all essential medicines will be provided free of cost in hospitals. He added that Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision is making comprehensive healthcare possible in smaller cities, and that effective implementation of the Chief Minister’s healthcare roadmap will bring visible improvements in hospitals across Punjab.
