Secretary Health & Population Punjab, Nadia Saquib, conducted surprise visits to various Union Councils in Multan, including Shadab Colony, Rahim Abad, and Union Council 65, to review the performance of the Community Health Inspector (CHI) Program.
During the visit, the Secretary closely monitored the field activities of Community Health Inspectors and personally carried out door-to-door visits to observe the citizen registration process. She interacted with residents and assessed the quality and effectiveness of healthcare services being provided at their doorstep.
Special Secretary Health Shahbaz Hussain and CEO Health Multan Dr. Soban Zia accompanied her during the visit.
Speaking on the occasion, Secretary Health Nadia Saquib appreciated Multan’s strong performance under the CHI Program and stated that the completion of human resource deployment across Punjab is underway to further strengthen primary healthcare delivery. She emphasized the need to improve data accuracy and enhance public facilitation to ensure a more efficient and responsive health system.
She reiterated that the core objective of the Community Health Inspector Program is to provide quality healthcare services at the doorstep of citizens and to reinforce the public healthcare system across Punjab.
