Provincial Minister for Health and Population Khawaja Imran Nazir, along with Secretary of the Health and Population Department Punjab Nadia Saqiub, formally inaugurated the “Chief Minister Special Screening Camps / Health Week” at THQ Raiwind.

 

On the directions of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, this special Health Week is being observed from May 14 to 16, 2026. During this campaign, citizens are being provided with free screening, medical check-ups, and health awareness services at selected DHQs, THQs, MNCH Centers, and Maryam Nawaz Hospitals across the province.

During the Health Week, special focus is being given to 9 key screening areas, including blood pressure checks, blood sugar testing, height and weight assessment, nutritional evaluation, maternal and child health screening, vaccination status checks, early detection of hepatitis and other diseases, health awareness and counseling, and referral of patients for further treatment where required.
