No Negligence Will Be Tolerated in the Fight Against Dengue!

 

An important meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Communicable Diseases, Dengue, and Disaster Management was held under the chairmanship of Provincial Health Ministers Khawaja Salman Rafique and Khawaja Imran Nazir, along with Secretary Health & Population Punjab Nadia Saquib. The meeting reviewed the current dengue situation across the province and assessed ongoing preventive measures in detail.

Special emphasis was placed on districts with higher dengue breeding activity, immediate interventions in high-risk areas, effective surveillance, elimination of mosquito larvae, and strengthening coordination among all relevant departments.

In line with the directives of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Zero-Tolerance Policy against dengue is being strictly implemented. Citizens, students, educational institutions, housing societies, and all stakeholders have been urged to play an active role in this campaign.

A clean environment, effective monitoring, and collective responsibility are the keys to ensuring a dengue-free and safer Punjab.
