Provincial Minister for Health and Population Welfare, Khawaja Imran Nazir, and Health Secretary Nadia Saquib chaired an important meeting between the Punjab Health and Population Department and National Database and Registration Authority.
The meeting reviewed various aspects of making the birth, death, and civil registration system more efficient, integrated, and digitally enabled. Discussions focused on strengthening digital integration, data sharing, and the use of modern technology between NADRA and the Health Department to provide citizens with improved and more accessible services.
Participants also emphasized the importance of timely birth and death registration, greater transparency in citizen records, enhanced governance, and expanding joint strategies aimed at public welfare and service delivery. The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of both institutions to further strengthen collaboration for a more efficient and citizen-centric registration system.
