Provincial Health Minister Chairs Meeting to Review Muharram Healthcare Arrangements

Provincial Minister for Health and Population Khawaja Imran Nazir and Secretary, Health and Population Department, Nadia Saquib, chaired an important meeting to review healthcare arrangements for Muharram-ul-Haram across Punjab.

The meeting was attended online by all Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) Health from across the province.

During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted regarding the provision of timely and quality healthcare services to mourners, particularly during Youm-e-Ashura. Key issues discussed included the deployment of Clinics on Wheels, route planning, ensuring 100 percent availability of medicines, complete attendance of medical staff, and effective field monitoring.

The meeting also reviewed the progress made under the Community Health Inspectors Programme.

On the occasion, all district CEOs Health were directed to strictly implement the instructions issued by the Health and Population Department to ensure the provision of the best possible medical facilities to the general public and mourners during Muharram-ul-Haram.
