Key to an effective response strategy for Covid-19

Key to an effective response strategy for Covid-19 is to understand the benefits and costs of various policy interventions such as smart lockdowns and containment, and the impact these interventions may have on the prevalence of Covid-19 as well as on other health and economic outcomes. This report takes the first step towards such a strategy. It summarizes the findings of the Smart Sampling and Testing Strategy proposed by the Government of Punjab’s Covid-19 Working Group and implemented by the Punjab Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department (P&SHD) in Lahore in May 2020.
