World Immunization Week in partnership with World Health Organization (WHO)

Government of Punjab is observing World Immunization Week in partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO). This year’s theme for the World Immunization Week is “The Big Catch-Up”. Almost 4,500 vaccinators and supporting staff will be working throughout the week for integrated outreach activities in 3,407 union councils of Punjab. Children under the age of 2 years will be administered free vaccinations to protect them from at least 12 fatal diseases and illnesses. Parents are requested to ensure that the vaccination courses of their children are completed. You can also visit your nearest government health facility to get your children vaccinated. Government of Punjab is committed to ensure that our children are protected against 12 fatal diseases, so that our future generations live healthy and prosperous lives.
